The Battle at Phillipi

March 18, 2011
Greetings Noble Romans
The battle is won! We have avenged Caesar's death. All the traitors have passed on. The battle raged on into the night. After we started getting the upper hand, all of the traitors committed suicide. Thank you all for avenging the Great Caesar's death.

The Ghost of Caesar

March 17, 2011
Greetings Noble Romans,
I, Mark Antony, have seen the ghost of Caesar in my sleep. He hath told me to post to you, that if you would like to pay your respects, that you shall go to the fields of Philippi and fight on his behalf. Caesar's spirit will be their, watching over the battle. So if you wish to honor him, consider attending on his behalf, so you can quash the conspirators too. We hope to see you there.

Caesar has been Assassinated

March 15, 2011
Greetings Romans,
I, Mark Antony, regret to inform you that today, at 8:46 AM, Julius Caesar was stabbed 23 times by a large group of conspirators. They claim that it was to protect you, noble Romans, from the tyranny of Julius Caesar. They say he was going to become your dictator. But I, Mark Antony, ask: if he was to become your dictator, why did he refuse the crown three times? The list of conspiritors follows: Marcus Brutus, Cassius, Casca, Trebonius, Caius Ligarius, Decius Brutus, Metellus Cimber, and Cinna.
They have fled the scene, so take to the streets and flush them out!

-Mark Antony

Going to the Capitol

March 15, 2011 a little later...
Greetings Noble Romans,
It is I Julius Caesar, While the priests have not seen favorable signs, the noble Decius hath convinced me that my dear wife's dreams have been misinterpreted. I will go to the capitol to hear your problems. See you there, my noble Romans.

My Wife's Dream

March 15, 2011
Greetings Noble Romans,
As the Ides of March draw near, I fear that the soothsayer may have been correct. My dear wife, Portia, has been having terrible dreams. Three times she cried out in her sleep. The night watchmen have also been seeing terrible things. But worry not, dear Romans, I have sent the priests to sacrifice a goat, and if all is well, I still plan on visiting the capitol to listen to your grievances. I will update you later.
Farwell for now, dear Romans.

Race Day

Febuary 15, 2011
Greetings Noble Romans,
It is I, Julius Caesar, your leader.
Today has been another great day to be Roman
I had the pleasure of enjoying the races today. However, before I could arrive at my seat, A soothsayer hath warned me. He said, "Beware the ides of March," but I am not very superstitious, so I think he is nothing but a dreamer.

On another note, Just to quash any rumors, that same day, Mark Antony, three times offered me a crown, not a real one, just one of those olive leaf ones, and three times I turned it down. I am not, and will not be your dictator. Only your leader.

Greetings, And Welcome to my Blog
